There is plenty to experience at Julianahoeve during the autumn holiday. Our entertainment team organises a variety of activities for young and old, with extra attention for Halloween during this period.

Is the weather not quite as good? Children can have fun in indoor playground Atlantica, play games on the interactive X-Wall or try out the Shuffle Table.

Good news: Juultjes Zwemparadijs is also open during the autumn holiday. Take a dip in the heated pool, race down the slides or warm up after a fresh walk on the beach in the sauna or whirlpool.

Extra activities are regularly organised in and around the swimming pool during the holiday period.

Indoor playground and entertainment during the autumn holiday

The autumn holiday at the Julianahoeve is all about Halloween Adventures. On 17 and 24 October, exciting haunted walks are planned, and on 21 October you can enjoy the show Moulin Rouge in the theatre. Our entertainment team also organises various activities throughout the holiday.

Indoor playground Atlantica is open daily. Children can climb, solve puzzles and race down the slide to their heart’s content. So even on a rainy autumn day, there is plenty to do.

Walking & cycling during the Autumn holiday in Zeeland

Schouwen-Duiveland offers plenty of walking and cycling routes through dunes, forests and nature reserves. One lovely route takes you through the dunes of Renesse. Bring your binoculars, as at low tide you may even spot seals resting on the sandbanks along the coast.

Boswachterij Westerschouwen is also well worth a visit. During a walk or bike ride, you may come across Shetland ponies, horses and sheep. With a bit of luck, you might even spot a roe deer or fallow deer.

You can also enjoy camping at Julianahoeve in autumn. Choose from various spacious camping pitches, including pitches with heated private sanitary facilities. Prefer to use a communal sanitary building? That is possible too.

At Park Waterhoen, some private sanitary units even include a dishwasher, while at Park Zeemeeuw some units have a refrigerator. This way, you can enjoy the authentic camping experience during the autumn holiday with just that little bit of extra comfort.

The “VakantieSuper” is open until after the autumn holiday. Here you can pick up fresh bread rolls in the morning and everything you need for a tasty drink or snack after your walk on the beach. There is always at least one food & drink outlet open, so you can warm up with a cup of hot chocolate or coffee.

Yes. Juultjes Zwemparadijs is indoors and heated. There are various pools and slides for children, while adults can relax in the wellness area (18+).

Yes, both sanitary buildings are heated. There are (spacious) rain showers for ultimate comfort in the fall. 

A chalet or lodge combines the comfort of your own accommodation with a stay close to the beach, dunes and all the facilities at Julianahoeve. Ideal after a fresh autumn walk.

Many shops and restaurants in Renesse are also open during autumn. Opening hours may vary by business, so we recommend checking them in advance.
