The Julianahoeve is located in a unique location in Renesse, on the beautiful island of Schouwen-Duiveland. Here you enjoy the perfect combination of tranquility, nature, and conviviality. The Zeeland coast is literally around the corner: within a few minutes you'll have your feet in the sand and be looking out over the wide beaches and the North Sea.

Thanks to its central location, our park is the ideal base for a wonderful holiday. Discover the charming villages and towns in the area, such as Zierikzee, Burgh-Haamstede, and Middelburg, or set out for a day full of adventure and relaxation.

Whether you enjoy walking through the dunes, cycling along the water, or soaking up culture in historic towns, you can experience it all from here. There's also plenty to do for families with children: from beach activities to fun outings and family-friendly attractions nearby.

The center of Renesse is 1.5 kilometers from the campsite.

Yes. The campsite lies right next to the dunes of the long North Sea beach. You’ll be on the beach within five minutes.

You can visit Delta Park Neeltje Jans, Klimbos Westerschouwen, Seal Rescue Centre Aseal, or Play farm ’t Klok’uus. More information is available at www.opschouwenduiveland.nl.

Nearby you’ll find charming towns such as Zierikzee, Goes and Middelburg. Picturesque villages in Zeeland include Veere, Brouwershaven and Domburg.

Yes. From the campsite you can access the walking and cycling network directly. Explore the dunes and forest towards Burgh-Haamstede, or follow the sea dyke all the way to Zierikzee.

Beach, nature and liveliness on Schouwen-Duiveland

Camping & Beachresort Julianahoeve enjoys a prime location in Renesse, just five minutes from the 21-kilometre stretch of sandy beach and a fifteen-minute walk from the beautifully renovated village centre. Here you’ll find trendy shops, inviting terraces and atmospheric restaurants. In summer, Renesse is full of life; in spring and autumn you can enjoy peace and plenty of space. Taste fresh mussels, Oosterschelde-lobster and other local Zeeland specialities in the sunniest region of the Netherlands.

Beach & Sea – The wide, clean beach lies right on your doorstep. Enjoy food and drinks at Beach Pavilion Zuid-Zuid-West, rent a beach cabin, or spot seals along the coast. Be mindful of the Verklikkerplaat, a sandbank that disappears under water at high tide.

Walking & Cycling – Discover the expansive dunes, forests and picturesque villages of Schouwen-Duiveland. Cycle past the Plompe Toren, to the Oosterscheldekering (the storm surge barrier), or through Oosterschelde National Park, where seals and harbour porpoises can often be seen. Take a day trip to Zierikzee, Middelburg, Goes, Veere or Bruinisse. Bicycle rental is available through Beachweb Sports Renesse, with free delivery to the campsite (reserve before 5 p.m.).
